ABOUT US

St Augustine's Church, historically known as the king of Holderness, is centered right at the heart of the historic town of Hedon in the East Riding of Yorkshire. We maintain a sizable congregation from across the local area.

The initial construction of the Church began in the early 12th century and has over the many years been expanded and refurbished to suit the needs of the town and congregation. St Augstine's has a significant number of historical features such as early medieval tomb covers, various examples of early Church design as well as mid-victorian furnishings and seating.
